UVC is a comic book magazine, created by founder and publisher Ron King. The publication predominantly features black creators in the comic book industry. Issued bimonthly, the magazine's target audience is predominantly young African American followers of comic book and pop culture.

UVC’s first magazine debuted in Feb 2006 at the New York City Comic convention with a limited edition covering the popular culture of comic books and targeting an audience that has largely been ignored. The immediate response was overwhelming and UVC: The Urban Voice in Comics Magazine was born.
